Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a unique item that will make certain Pokemon change. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc, and is often offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be placed in weapons, armor trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets to boost their level of use. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the kind of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be placed into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to give bonus effects or attributes when the equipment is used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is at a certain level. Some upgrade components have special visual effects that are visible when they are used. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, purchased from karma sellers, traded with other players on the Trading Post, salvaged from equipment, or as rewards in games.
There are a variety of upgrade components available, each offering various bonuses. Universal upgrades like gems and inscriptions can be used on any type of equipment. They offer fewer bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions can be found in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, while enhancements are used to upgrade certain items that are ascended back. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced if they are slotted into an item, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and put back in.
Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to look up and insert these unique characters as well as regular glyphs like em dashes and en dieshes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost in stats for the character. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats that will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost which is multiplied by other bonuses, except for Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will display a new window with the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the item you have selected. You only need to apply the appropriate Glyph to the item you are looking for. Every weapon or armor piece has a different collection of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be improved by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the Dungeon is, the more Glyph experience you will gain. Once a Glyph attains level 15 it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The upgrade of a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
When a Glyph is at the desired level you can activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will give its stated bonus and will increase the number of nodes in its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed in areas that will benefit your building the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. The glyphs that are rare could offer double bonuses when certain conditions are met which is why they're worth checking out for too.
If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of perspectives. Each of these views will display the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limit the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling involves establishing a new account in order to increase your chances of getting the weapon or character you'd like. This can help you level up faster or to obtain more loot, for example, an improved weapon for your current character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters they like regardless of their strength. This could be because they like the character's style or character.
When you reroll, you need to ensure that the changes you're making are clean. You should test locally whether the patch is approved by pre-commit and run a core dev test. You should upload the patch with a clear difference to a bug (see What is an interdiff?) ).

Rerolls may be weeks or days long depending on how fortunate you are. During this period, you should avoid enemy camps that are optional to cut down on time. It is also recommended to avoid repeating quests that you can complete later on in the game. This can save you time and energy.
When rerolling, it's crucial to be aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to enhance your character's appearance and strength. These can include upgrading your weapons or characters, rerolling them and purchasing upgrades. In addition, it's important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling is not a necessary element of the game but it can be useful to increase the chances of winning an item or character. You can use it to determine which character is the best or to experiment with different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection having 2 common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets can be used for operations like union, intersection and distinction.
When you upgrade a set item, it is an upgraded version that is superior to the previous one. This means that armor and weapons will have a greater defense value and less requirement for strength.
Upgrading is a great way to bring popular single-set items to the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to the Elite Spired helmet could boost the defense from 217 up to 321 and lower the strength requirements and level requirements to a more feasible range.
However it's important to remember that not all set items are good candidates for upgradation. Some sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzlers are Exceptional in their own rights and don't need upgrading. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and see frequent use (like Goldwrap) may benefit by being upgraded to boost their stats even more. It may be worth it to upgrade these items.
